My favourite cafés in Palma de Mallorca for breakfast, coffee and brunch

Palma is full of gorgeous place for a cup of coffee accompanied by something savory or sweet. The places listed are my favourites for endless coffee dates, the best avocado toasts, freshly made bread and amazing smoothie bowls.

La Molienda
Speciality coffee at it’s best, served together with toasts topped with hummus, avocado or the traditional rubbed tomato. Amazing bakes and lunch options too. La Molienda has two different places in the centre of Palma.

Thomas Bakeshop
With several shops on the island and amazing sourdough bread, it’s worth stepping by if you are looking for delicious bread as well as something sweet.

Cafe Riutort
I never get tired of this place. A place with a cool industrial design and lively athmosphere where you will find our amazing toasts, both savory and sweet, as well as really good coffee served with a smile.

Barbara’s Bakery
Barbara used to have a bakery in Pollenca, so before we had to travel across the island to get her amazing cakes. Not anymore! Since the end of last year we get to enjoy her lovely bakes and amazing breakfast & brunch in Palma.

Rosevelvet Bakery
The most delicious and tasty cakes accompanied by great coffee, as well as great breakfast and brunch/lunch options. The scrambled eggs with plenty of parmesan is lovely. Located in the centre.

Mama Carmen
The top choice by many people for brunch in Palma. Plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. Bowls, toasts and great coffee. Always tasty and beautifully presented.

More of a restaurant than a café maybe, but this place needs to be mentioned because of their amazing brunch menu, served all day in the biggest private garden in central Palma at Can Bordoy. Breathtakingly beautiful.

El Perrito
A lovely sunny spot in Santa Catalina with a lovely avocado toast on rye bread, as well as delicious bagels. Dogs get a treat here too, it’s Cleo’s favourite place.

Mukka Coffee
A beautifully decorated café where everything is vegan. Here you will find nourishing juices, good coffee, great smoothie bowls and fantastic fake eggs. Located in the centre, just off La Rambla.

Mistral coffee roasters
Coffee lovers, you must visit our local coffee roasters at Mistral. Enjoy the scent of newly roasted coffee and have it the way you want it, to drink inside or to take away.

La Finca
A beautiful, hip café with lovely staff, amazing cakes, great coffee and nice breakfast and brunch/lunch options.
